Fun facts from Canzano on former Oregon football head coaches...
The Ducks have invested a billion dollars in football. The program enjoys world-class branding, courtesy of Nike. It has the most influential single booster (Phil Knight) in the history of college athletics. Also, it has three decades of sweat equity and momentum built by head coaches such as Rich Brooks and Mike Bellotti.
Here’s some interesting data:
Willie Taggart record at Oregon: 7-5
Taggart everywhere else: 63-73
Mario Cristobal at Oregon: 35-13
Cristobal everywhere else: 31-52
Chip Kelly at Oregon: 46-7
Kelly everywhere else: 26-26

Saw that and LOVED it. The perfect response to taunts of "Stepping Stone U" and "Delusional Duck fans think it's a destination job."

Good article. His 11-year old having already lived in 8 states speaks to many issues about the coaching profession.
Assuming the program doesn't go off the rails requiring a head coaching change, I can see him being at Oregon for awhile (all relative).
It has made me realize we can't lump all young coaches together as in constantly looking for the next opportunity. Young coaches with a family and an 11-year old who has already lived in 8 states may have a different mindset.
