I've always enjoyed Coach Woody's writings..many years ago I attended some clinics he spoke at in Eugene.

I have always liked Ken too...he has played and coached the game...so he has valuable insight.
Sometimes and this article is an example in how he describes Utah, he goes a little overboard / dramatic in his writing.
Utah is a very good team... however Oregon lost to the uw on a late FG...it is not like they got blown out of the stadium. The uw played a consistent game while Oregon was all over the place performanc-wise...both players and coaching. Yet only a FG was the difference on the scoreboard in the end.
Penix Jr is a very good QB...you don't lead the nation because you are lucky. Yet if the situation was reversed and he was the QB injured at the end, then Oregon probably would have won the game.
I do think Woody raises an interesting point about fatigue at the end.
To Lanning's credit, with each game Oregon has generally improved on problems from the previous game...red zone offense, reducing penalties, etc. and especially so when compared to Cristobal last year.
I expect to see the same this Saturday albeit the QB position may be different.
