Re: Too many mistakes

The Phil Knight basketball tournament starts tomorrow.  There are some real heavyweight's in this year's bracket.  # 1 North Carolina, # 6 Gonzaga, # 8 Duke, # 12 Michigan State, # 18 Alabama, # 20 Connecticut, # 24 Purdue.  Schools also receiving votes are # 30 Xavier, # 35 Villanova, # 40 Oregon (hard to believe) and # 41 West Virginia.  Rounding out the field is Iowa State, Florida, Oregon State, Portland and Portland State.  I'm surprised Villanova is ranked so low and Iowa State and Florida aren't ranked at all.  Must be a rebuilding year for them.  Now my rant on the Ducks. Not only are they once again off to a slow start, Keeshawn Barthelemy injured his foot in the Houston game and is in a walking boot.  That leaves Coach Altman with seven scholarship players available.  After facing Connecticut, Oregon plays either Michigan State or Alabama with another game TBD.  Then PAC-12 plays begins with a game against WSU and # 19 UCLA.  Out of the frying pan and into the fire.  I was so optimistic to see the season start but now realize this year's team could be brutal.  As Jerry Seinfeld once said, "This has disaster written all over it!"  Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I haven't looked into basketball much yet and need to catch up. Those are some really good teams.

I'm actually surprised the score wasn't worse with Houston.

With all the injuries and the way things look "This has disaster written all over it" like you say 😂

The recent Ducks team just don't have the stinging bee type defense they used to. Combine that with poor 3-point shooting in the modern day game and you have a major uphill battle. That doesn't even account for all the injuries.

Happy Thanksgiving bedupivi 🦃
