I'll start off by saying Brady has said multiple times he's done with college football, and he doesn't enjoy recruiting. I sincerely doubt Scott Frost is someone who would, or even should, get a look.

Interestingly not one person on the list is currently an OC!?
For continuity Junior Adams makes the most sense.
I just don't know what the autonomy factor is with Lanning? Does the OC call the plays? If Lanning makes a decision to go for it on 4th down...who decides on the play to use?

Some more info and names to consider..

I think Mullen is a serious stretch. I can see him in the SEC working with Freeze at Auburn as OC before coming to the PAC.
I like the Duke and Texas St. guys, they are QB coaches and it has been more than a decade since this program actually developed a quarterback corp. Need to get some stability at that position and pay the man to stay a few years to do so.
Adams is gone. Think he may have a better shot at OC at ASU to establish himself, he did a great job at Oregon, though...
Lanning has to move on from his buddies. KD moving on this quickly is more a blessing than a curse as it hopefully spurs Lanning to grow up fast. The expectations were not to be suffering such youthful errors in game management but to reel in hardware and I am sure Lanning's seat is a bit warm considering the way this team lost the games they did. I truly hope that he has Bellotti on the batphone during all this. Bellotti was not shy about replacing coordinators and Lanning needs to understand its show business, not show friends...

*I am not sure about Adams being gone....he is the Co-OC right now and perhaps might be a logical(good?) replacement if promoted. He is 43-years old and if you Google him, pretty decent resume so far including being the OC at Western Kentucky AND for the uw huskies prior to coming to Oregon. Passing game coordinator at Boise State. Played for oregon state. The more I read about him the more I like.
*If you read Wilner's column on Dillingham going to ASU(I posted it on this platform), he(KD) is going to have a tough sell getting coaches to come to a school which at the moment is a train wreck with NCAA sanctions yet to be announced. Not everyone wants to rebuild a program.
*What I appreciate the most about Bellotti although I didn't see it at the time is despite him being an "offensive guy" when he hired an OC he then got out of the way and let them develop the offense. See Chip Kelly to pick the lowest hanging fruit. When Andy Ludwig didn't work out; Bellotti brought in Gary Crowton who I still remember at the time of his hiring said, "Our goal is the get the ball out of the QB's hands within three seconds" which was a stark contrast to QB's under Ludwig standing standing standing in the pocket. Point being he TRUSTED the people he hired(MC didn't at all).
