I can't help but wonder if the players are frustrated with Altman and Graves in contrast to the more common narrative of the coach being frustrated with the players?
I don't get how Will Richardson can play 43 minutes of an OT game against the uw and go scoreless? Yet why is he even in the game if he is not scoring...he only took 5 shots?!? Dana... what are you thinking?
Graves made a big deal at the end of last season about how the women hadn't accomplished anything which seemed to trigger a significant exodus of players...yet here they are today in 8th place?! Nobody is going to suggest they only have the 8th best talent in the Pac-12.
I watched a recent game and not one time when the opponent shot the ball did any Oregon players hands go up in any type of rebounding position? That is like 6th grade fundamentals.
Anything can happen of course in the Pac-12 Tournament but in this era players are less likely / willing to stick around for next season to see if it will get better. Transfer Portal here they come.
Altman turns 65 in June...Maybe 13-years at Oregon is enough?
Graves has been at Oregon since 2014 and in 2019 signed an extension through the 2025-26 season so I can't see him going anywhere unless by his choice.
However after losing to Belmont in last year's NCAA Tournament and this year being one game above .500 overall but 5-10 in Conference play to date...hard to believe that performance level will be tolerated very long.
SOMETHING is going on with both programs. Simply hoping the teams do well in the Pac-12 Tournament to continue the season is not the standard of success for either program.

Both coaches should be on hot seat at this point. Especially Altman.
IMO, I don't see much talent on the women's team. Men's team has more talent than they are showing, but whatever Dana is trying to teach them it isn't working, or they aren't listening. Neither of which is good.
