SDSU gives intention to exit Mountain West!
As the article notes there are multiple issues going on including SDSU not officially having a conference to go to at the moment.

Getting a deal done by the 30th would be advantageous for the sake of SDSU. More importantly the deal needs to get done to keep teams from jumping ship.
If SDSU would join the Pac in a new deal wouldn't another team by needed to keep the numbers even? Besides just people throwing out names I haven't heard of another school that's rumored to be in the mix.

SMU is the other school rumored to become part of the pAC. My concern is the PAC still has no media rights deal, and SDSU could bolt to the Big 12. I really believe the PAC is dragging it's feet here, for whatever reason, and just might get left out in the cold, with possibly some schools going to the Big 12 just for the certainty.
