One reason Wilner is my go to journalist is he minimizes emotional reactions to most issues and presents reality with questions.
You(media, websites, etc) can react all different ways and post stuff for the proverbial "click bait" as many will no doubt do("The Pac-12 is Dead") but Wilner keeps the focus on the reality of the moment.
I don't like what has happened but I feel a little better after reading these two columns.
As well I do agree with the theme which is woven throughout his writing...the Pac-12 has been sitting on all this stuff for over a year...the time is NOW to make decisions, take action and secure commitments.

I like Wilner in general. For his media deal coverage on the Pac he's a good glass half full read. What I'm getting at is that while he's not a Duck homer he is a bit of a Pac homer. He doesn't like to go into the possibly of the Pac dissolving. It's certainly good to have a positive take on matters.
Wilner does make a good point that Colorado is replaceable. I'll push back just a little though in that Deion has the time being talked about nationally and he's going to bring a lot of eyes on a national level. They could be good in a few years.
