There's all kinds of buzz and speculation about the Big 12 and the Ducks having mutual interest.
247Sports reporter Jason Scheer tweeted “there’s another school in the Pac-12 beyond the rumored four corners that will surprise people and is seriously contemplating a jump to the Big 12." Oregon alum and former NFL player Geoff Schwartz speculated Wednesday night that he believed the team Scheer was referring to had to be Oregon.
Perhaps just rumors, but perhaps not!
Considering the door isn't open in the B1G maybe this is their best option? If you look at from a money perspective it's probably going to be better than what deal GK can't seem to close. Looking at the desire to get into the playoffs the Big 12 seems a lot easier to run the table that the Pac at this point.
As for the Big 12 it sure seems like a slam dunk for them.
Could the talks of Oregon joining the Big 12 force the hand of the B1G to reconsider expanding sooner?
After waiting a whole year and still not having a deal done I'm personally getting rather impatient.

At this point, I feel the PAC is dead. Some terrible decisions by University presidents and GK. Just sad. I think Oregon absolutely should look to the BIG 12; at least their presidents seem to have a clue.
