Most watched late-nght college football game in the HISTORY of ESPN!
Colorado vs Colorado State...2 teams who last year combined for a 4-20 record.
And one of those teams is coming to Eugene this Saturday!
For the last year all I have read here and many other places is how college football is dead, ruined, become unwatchable, is all about the money and so on...thanks to the NIL, Transfer Portal, head coaches salaries and the like.
ONE person(Prime) comes into a program and literally ignites a national firestorm of interest, excitement and enthusiasm which extends FAR beyond the fan base of his school.
Yet people are still miserable because they don't like his style, personality or whatever. As Jack Nicholson's famous movie line goes, "You can't handle the truth."
People...fans, media, alumni...are tuning in to Colorado football just as they will this Saturday for a game in Eugene, Oregon! Nobody is stupid enough to believe only Colorado and Oregon fans will watch the game on TV. I am elated.
