IF they beat ASU

IF the UW beats OSU

IF Utah beats Arizona

That eliminates the current 2-loss teams OSU and Arizona(only 2 losses in Conference games).

Takes the pressure off of having to win the Civil War.

Somewhat surprisingly there are many Duck fans everywhere who would trade that guarantee for OSU beating the UW...which actually works against Oregon big time...the UW can afford a loss because they already beat the UO and then if OSU beats the UO the Ducks lose on the tiebreaker i.e. lost to both UW and OSU.

So why would anyone want that precarious a situation based primarily on never imagining themselves hoping the UW wins?!?

Especially given the head coach at Oregon already being 0-3 in rivalry games with the UW and OSU with his penchant for taking wild risks in close games.

Here is hoping the Ducks clinch a spot in the Pac-12 Championship Game THIS weekend 🙏
