What can we learn from USC's QB performance in Holiday Bowl

Trust the players you recruit and give people a chance.

Redshirt sophomore; first ever start; opponent played in the ACC Championship Game; set bowl and school records.

Like most every bowl games...rosters don't usually resemble the roster which ended the regular season...both with players and coaches.

USC lost 5 of their last 6 games and by any reasonable definition the season was a major failure compared to preseason expectations. This kid stepped up and had himself an amazing game.

Develop, trust and play.

I watched that game last night on TV and was watching him closely. Something like 6TD passes. He did have one picked off by Louisville in the endzone and returned the other way for a huge gain. But Moss looks really serviceable for next season, to say the least. Ha ha but that great game has now created really big expectations on him for next season too!

All fine. Still despise U$C.
