Ducks vs. Beavs

It doesn't seem right playing now does it?

On paper this should be an easy game. However, with the Ducks numerous struggles and the Beavs playing at home anything is possible. My guess is that we might get an ugly win.

Finaly we get a game on Fox.

Recent injury report https://www.si.com/college/oregon/football/oregon-ducks-oregon-state-injury-report-evan-stewart-matthew-bedford-dave-iuli-dillon-gabriel-questionable

Lanning is talking like Bedford should be able to play. I was listening the Autzen Audibles podcast a few days ago and people that have actually been going to the practices said that it didn't look like Bedford was doing much. They thought Bedford would probably come back after the buy wee. Who knows? DL is under a lot of pressure with O-line struggles and is most likely wanting Bedford to play in what might be a half way decent Beavs D. They pitched a shutout last week, although San Diego State is supposed to be real bad this year.

Go Ducks!!!

Re: Ducks vs. Beavs

we need Laloulu at C snapping the ball and calling out the blocking signals. today and for the rest of the year. Bedford or Dave Iuli at G. I swear last week I saw 72 snapping the ball and Strother-50 at G. bless Pickard, but he's a walk-on.
I like our defensive matchup. OS is sub-P5 in the passing game, deficient at QB and WR. stop the run and keep beavs behind the chains. between Jordan Burch and Matayo Uggs coming off the edge and our star-studded secondary, we should get TOs and punt-return opportunities. give the O a short field and we'll be fine.

Ducks opened the week at -14. just this a.m. it's -17.5. somebody somewhere thinks we're healthy in the O-line.

Good news: Looks like the Alabama-Wisconsin game won’t be spilling over into our time slot. 😉

It looks like the game just wrapped up. Thank goodness as it's really frustrating when the game spills over. I take it you're watching from home today? The Beavs fans will probably be even more beligorant than usual, which is pretty bad. Probably a good game not to attend as far as environment.

Re: Ducks vs. Beavs

I want to see more defenders get to the ball though on D. It's like the Beavs have a lot of open field if the make the first defender miss.

We're living in an upside down world! At least it looks like a fall day. I can't imagine a hot late summer heat wave. It still doesn't feel right.

Yup.  Even Huard is begrudgingly mentioning it…🫤

Re: Ducks vs. Beavs

Dylan Gabriel actually looked pretty quick on that breakaway. He doesn’t always look quick scrambling but he’s not a total slow poke. Thank goodness for that score. You didn’t want to give the beavers momentum after the defense couldn’t stop them last drive.

Re: Ducks vs. Beavs

At halftime our run defense not getting it done. Beavers probable game plan is working thus far. Eat up the clock. TOS is a wide disparity as the Oregon offense has been very efficient. Concerned how much time the D is out there. Fatigue and injuries a concern.
Let's see how 2nd half goes on that.

Same. It’s concerning seeing so many broken plays by the bees turn into big yards because nobody covers anyone that breaks a tackle.

I’m at home. I’ve only been to one Civil War at Reser. It was their Chad Johnson/Fiedta Bowl year. The good news was I could barely see the Ducks lose from the horrible guest section in the end zone.

One of the announcers just said “scrum of humanity.”
