You better believe that after the lukewarm Duck showing against Maryland that Wisconsin will think they have a real chance at an upset this weekend and play with nothing to lose. Fickell is on a warming seat and needs this game to cool it off and the crowd at Camp Randall will be very loud in a cold night environment. Lanning is a master at getting the team fired up for these kinds of games and this is no exception. Early line is 14pts, and with the Duck tendency to not cover, this forecasts that this game will go deep into the fourth quarter. Cannot sleep on this team or rack up penalties. Hope the Ducks open it up and throw a few downfield this week, think the lack of explosion plays this week on offense a bit of rope-a-dope by the coaching staff...

Forecast for Madison on Saturday night is a low of 46 with slight chance of rain. Eugene on the other hand is forecast for a low of 43 with 80% chance of rain. I doubt if the weather will be a factor.

For all the concern about the weather in the B1G nothing has materialized this season at least. Pac schools like Pullman can have cold weather too. Maybe next year we'll get some weather way below freezing or something. It really doesn't seem like a problem though.

I hope your right that the Ducks were easing off the gas per se last week. Wisconsin's pass defense is suppose to be pretty good. The Ducks can pass on anyone when they're playing best football. There were a few uncharacteristic drops from the WRs last week.
Last week I was downplaying Wisconsin. Like you're saying though they're going to be hungry. People are saying the home crowd there are similar to Autzen . DL will certainly need to get the team up for the occasion.

Joey mentioned this today on Talkin’ Ducks. Said it would be so cold you couldn’t move your fingers, and was so glad to see the weather would be mild.
