Ducks QB Room
It seems like the Ducks backup QB's could be very serviceable Austin has looked really good on film. Akili Smith Jr. probably won't see the field, but he could be an option down the road. He's a big kid with a big arm.
So I saw Spencer post a Locked on Ducks on the starter QB not being named. It seems like a nothing burger though since it's not DL's style to name the QB early. From everything we've heard from various coaches makes this a non-story. The good news is Austin might be pretty good.
Could this be one of the better backup groups the Ducks have had?
I thought I'd post this video that has clips and a bio and all of the Ducks QB's.

I honestly expected Novosad to transfer out after Spring ball. He seems too good a QB to sit again behind a transfer he was signed to replace in the first place.
That said, it is nice to have a second level guy who has been in the system for more than one year behind the eventual starter.... yup, I just did "coach speak..."
