Football season has returned! Are you ready? I'm actually not ready in the literal sense while I continue to clean and get things done around the house. I'm not sure we'll have much of a chat until conference play starts, but please post what you're looking to see in this game and how the game is turning out during play.

DurangoDuck checking in. Been passive off season, but football is back!
Lots of discovery to find out with these Ducks. Dante. The entire O line. Most of the D line. RB’s and TE’s on paper seem solid. Lots of talent, let’s see if the coaches can get it to show up on the field. Yikes, we will likely need a couple of games to get the machine re-oiled.

Welcome back Durango! A lot of us took the off season off this year.

The game barely started and they marched right down the field.
One of my first take aways is that is looks like Dante can and will be used to run. This was a concern that Will like Chip is used to having a mobile QB and that was part of the problem at UCLA. Of course the blocking was fantastic and this isn't B1G talent wise. Nothing to complain about to start. The running looked good too.
Go Ducks!!!

Running game certainly looks great in early sample. And the D smothering the ball. Realizing this is Montana St, but the are no slouch either.

It’s great to have Noaha back and I think he was not at 100% last year. We’re supposed to have a really deep running back room for that matter. I imagine they assume break Dante more in easy and utilize the run more not open up the playbook.

I think this is the start everyone expected last year. I’m glad the ducks didn’t have the spotlight on them going into the season.

Every concern and want has been answered in the first half. All the praise about DM was real and not just hype.
The O-line is playing together.
The TE's, RB's, and D-line have all shown up.
What a great start to the year.

Great first half. Not sure what they could have done better for first game. Dante looks poised and the line has allowed him time.
Defense has allowed just a couple plays for any yards. The short wide-out pass of this opening drive gouged them a bit, but then then culled down again and forced the three.
All good so far, certainly a more together start than last year.

So many things look good right now. One major improvement I'm seeing is the speed and tackling on the D. Last year we started out with a lot of missed tackles or nobody coming to the ball to make a play.

Ducks looked sharp today. One concern - Malik Hughes was supposed to be the featured back going in. The 1st half he had 1 carry for 2 yards. Didn't see him in the 2nd. Hoping he's not injured.
