Here's a few good recaps from the opener.
Duck Tape: Film Review of Oregon vs. Montana State:
One good point is that the game plan wasn't really that different from last years opener. The Ducks just played better in so many ways. They reminded me of some of Saban's best Bama teams in that their want a bunch of aggressive 50 yard throws or trick plays.
Oregon has the nation’s best blocking receiver:
Dakorien led the nation for the best blocking receiver. I failed to mention how good he and the other Ducks were blocking to lead to big plays after the catch.
I can't say I was rooting for them exactly, but it's a good thing for the conference that Ohio State won.
Florida State beating Alabama was a big surprise. Alabama is still getting the talent. There's already calls to get rid of Kalen. That's why DL knows he has it good at Oregon. That's the kind of pressure you get from trying to follow up Saban.
I still can't believe Bill Belichick is coaching in college and a second tier team for that matter. Can't say I feal bad for his disastrous start to the year. Who would've thought the guy that was lauded as the best coach of all time is getting it handed to him in college now?
The Ducks next few opponents look weaker that we might have expected before the season started. The Ducks will probably be favored by several touchdowns every week. Like everyone keeps saying we may not know how truly good the team is until we face Penn State.
Moving forward to Saturday and Oklahoma State.... Go Ducks!!!

Dakorien Moore can do for the Ducks what Smith did for the Buckeyes last year. Set the tone, be a threat with or without the ball and make the big play. Glad to see him start and help offset the absence of Stewart.
Not a 'Bama hater as much as I disliked how Saban carried himself as HC there with his fragile ego when teams figured out to beat him at his own game. That said, I think DeBoer is a fantastic coach but may have done better moving to Michigan if UW was that bad a place to be. 'Bama fans are about as delusional as Husky fans, TBH...
Belichick was exposed as the guy who was once fired by Cleveland after Brady departed. Desperate to prove he can win without Brady, he chose to carry on and I think this experiment blows up in just one season.
Gundy bitching about Nike and Knight and money is sad. It wasn't long ago that his program was the class of the conference with Pickens' cash. He is now making excuses for losing before the game is played, don't know why players want to suit up for this dude.

at least Mike Leach waited until after the game to throw his players under the bus.
that must be some locker room in Stillwater right now.
