Welcome to another Saturday of of Ducks football. I hope everyone made it early that's attending the game with the Beavers playing a home game at the same time. I'm assuming TV must take priority versus sensible planning for traffic?
Game Details: at Autzen Stadium, 12:30 p.m. PT.
Broadcast: CBS, with live streaming available on CBS Sports App and Paramount+ (with Showtime).
Key Storylines: Oregon's offense, led by quarterback Dante Moore, showcased a balanced attack in their opener, while Oklahoma State faced challenges with the absence of starting quarterback Hauss Hejny, who was sidelined by a broken foot, leaving freshman Zane Flores to make his first career start. The Ducks are aiming to extend their 16-game home win streak and 35-game nonconference home win streak.
Spread/Predictions:27.5 Most analysts predicted a decisive victory for Oregon, with the implied score from the betting model being Ducks 42, Cowboys 14, and a 98.5% chance of Oregon winning the game
Injury Report:
Emmanuel Pregnon (OL): Expected to play after going out in the Montana State game with a lower leg injury. Coach Dan Lanning expressed confidence in his return.
Theran Johnson (CB): Set to make his Oregon debut after being ruled out for the opener due to a right knee injury. Lanning stated he should be back this week.
Kawika Rogers (OL): Questionable for the Oklahoma State game after an ankle injury. Lanning indicated he could be back but was not certain.
Dillon Gresham (WR): Not able to play, still recovering from an undisclosed injury. Lanning confirmed he will be out for a little while, more as a precaution.
Oklahoma State: Starting quarterback Hauss Hejny is out for the game after undergoing surgery on a broken foot sustained in their season opener against UT Martin.

I hear OSU likes to throw deep frequently. If they can get some pressure some picks might be there for the secondary.

The talk last week was that Hughes didn't earn the top couple spots in the room.

Maki? Is that why we haven’t seen him much?
Looks like Stein is ready to let Moore air it out.

Yeah, it didn't seem to be a health or rest issue. He could see some more snaps as the season goes of course.
Glad to see some deep balls. That was a concern about Stein in that he favors short throws and could hinder a QB with a big arm. I thought is made sense to start the season with easy layups versus going deep.

OSU's players look bigger and faster than Montana State last week.

Yes, much better test for the Ducks. The D looking good other than that blown coverage pass play. Lupoi will have some words of wisdom for sure.

The deep throws are so crisp and right on the money. A true pleasure to watch.
Now, let's shut down that power run game.

Maki out there, nice little gain after being blocked up.
Moore has a better arm than Dillon for sure. That last pass was terrific.

Looks like we'll see some backup QB's in the second half.

I think Novosad was questionable. Didn’t hear why.
