Ducks vs. Penn State Game Chat
Welcome to the unofficial start of the season in what I think most everyone circled as the biggest game of the year.
I'm really busy and won't be putting up the basic game preview. Check out our posts and takes from earlier in the week as I think most of you know the basics already.
Stop on by and tell us what your game day prediction is? Let us know if there's any updates on injuries or anything.

ILL fan here. From what I've seen and heard thus far, Ducks look like the better team. ILL mostly hung with Penn St last year then got blown out at Oregon. My money is on the ducks. should be a good game either way.

I sure hope so. Congrats on the USC victory.
Our new member is a life long diehard Illinois fan and knows a lot about the B1G.

On line and ready for the game! Thanks for all the post updates Phil. This will be a good test for sure. I prefer Ducks playing last week and not sure the bye week for Penn St will help them. Our extra game provided good play calling and much needed practice for an O line that is capable but hasn’t played much together.

Good to hear it Durango. I agree that playing last week is more beneficial at this point in the year. If it was towards the end of the season when everyone is banged up I wouldn't being saying that.

Defensive 1st qtr...Dante not comfortable throwing yet...gotta get some throws downfield and loosen up the D...Matayo with some big plays..

It took Dante a while to dial it in against beavis last week so I'm not surprised he's not on fire yet. At least he doesn't look like a deer in headlights.

The defense is holding up. Allar has the strength and runs like Herbert did for the Ducks. Thankfully he doesn't throw like Justin.

not sure what that last play was...why not just let the clock run out?? Ducks outplaying the NL so far, seems to me. Gotta start getting some downfield throws, but a great defensive first half.

The Penn State D was looking really looking fatigued there at the end of the 1St half.
I'd like to see some play-action things from Oregon to open things up and make that D even more tired.
