I'm still a little surprised we picked up a graduate transfer with Shough seemingly being really good. I suppose it makes sense to have a veteran around for insurance and improve through the iron sharpens iron philosophy. I imagine Moorehead won't be afraid to run the QB more. The Ducks got some grief for not running Herbert much last year, but I actually thought it made sense to keep him healthy.

I'm wondering if we're going to loose a really good QB through the transfer portal. It's a good problem to have. I think the recent Ducks QB transfers went to smaller schools. Could the current group of QB's have a Jalen Hurts type transfer that could do well at a competitive program? I suppose it's a silly thing to worry about if the starter is that good.

I'm glad to hear the Ducks have been staying healthy and not testing positive as Cristobal alluded to. Cristobal said they have nearly a flawless program, which they're always looking to improve for safety. Does this give anybody hope for possibly being able to play safely this year? Perhaps just wishful thinking?
