Assume no pandemic but with fires and all related issues, tomorrow (September 12) was originally Oregon vs the luckeyes! It might have been cancelled anyway... apparently Oregon has the worst air quality in the world at the moment.

It's such a tragedy. My friend showed me a video of his childhood home in Detroit that was burned to the ground. My folks in Pendleton said it is pretty much unbearable...

Sparty game second week in Sept in 2014 was 90 degrees and blanketed w a haze from forest fires, but obviously nothing like this week. tOSU would have been cancelled for sure.
friend of mine's son is a firefighter based in Bend; out on the front lines these past few weeks. prayers for everyone; what a terrible tragedy for Oregon and the west coast. kinda puts sports in perspective.

It's heartbreaking. I have several buddies in Blue River. All I know is that they are OK, but the town is gone. No question the game would have been cancelled. God Bless the firefighters!
