Considering the stakes being so low this season and a full slate of games not guaranteed (see Va Tech!), I see any games played this season as not much more than highly organized scrimmages. A great test to see what line combos work best and a chance to get some PT for the youngsters while playing for the W.
I do not see what is happening out there on the football landscape as anywhere near representative of what we would have seen under normal circumstances. No bands and students fans and pageantry and that counts for something even to these players...

The PERFECT word...."scrimmage." That is exactly what these games are.
The ACC put out a statement where they need at least 8 teams "available to play" in order to avoid postponing the season!
