Dang, this has been the longest sustained period of waiting for our Ducks to debut than any of us has ever had to endure. Kind of cool, actually, to once again feel that anticipation that we all had as kids waiting for Christmas morning. Here are the presents I'm excited to see:
1) Quarterback play. I hope it's Shouhg's team for the next two years, and I hope that Brown is a skilled, quality back-up because we'll need one this year for sure. That said, I would like to see Shough running the RPO with confidence. I hope he'll deke the camera guy a little bit like Thomas and Dixon used to.
2) Sean Dollars. This is the CJ Verdell show, and it's clear the Ducks will be running a lot again this year. I'm excited to see how they get Dollars involved. He has a little Shady McCoy in him.
3) Devin WIlliams. He should have been a Duck from the get-go, but the USC transfer is tall and made an impact in SoCal. He is a clear starter, so I hope Shough (or Brown) target him often.
4) Sewell and Flowe. These are amazing athletes and, like KT, they will play immediately. I want to see these guys both making plays in intermediate coverage and blitzing from time to time, like Funa did last year.
5) Moorhead's offense. How will we attack teams under this new coordinator? With so many quarterbacks in the room and with a COVID year of wiggle room for eligibility, there is no reason not to run that RPO stuff that we shied away from to keep Herbie healthy. Let's go!
Go Ducks! Making queso burgers and home-made fries with some good Oregon beer for tonight's game.

It sure has been a long time waiting and I'm ready.
Seeing how Moorhead runs the offense is my probably my number 1.
You reminded me about Devon Williams as he's very talented and could be a major contributor. I'm really excited to see what Mycah Pittman can do with a little experience now as he already was one of the most reliable in regaurds to his hands last season. Webb and McCormick at TE could be major contributors on the offense too.
Home-made fries, yum! I have some leftover tacos, but might go a different route. I'm a pretty serious homebrewer and have a NW style IPA on tap ready to go. Go Ducks!
