Looks like COVID has infected some players...guess we'll see.

With the way this season/year has gone, I wouldn't be surprised to see the game cancelled. John Canzano is floating the idea of a Duck-Buckeye match-up. In a normal year, I would be all for it. But Oregon is in a rebuilding year, Ohio State has reloaded. This would be a huge mismatch and
would show how far Oregon needs to go in their rebuilding process. They have already lost two commits, let's hope Cristobal can hold this recruiting class together.

So if the Huskies cancel, they win the North.

Yeah, doesn't quite seem fair to me.

if the Dawgs can't field a team this Saturday then it's doubtful they can field one for the P-12 Championship Game on Friday the 18th, given the length of the Covid protocols.
so then what?

At least uw would get in on their record vs the sleaziest program in America...the luckeyes...who didn't qualify for the BIG Conference Championship until the previously agreed upon rules (have to play in 6 games) were changed today so they could play.

I heard it could supposedly go to Colorado and USC if that scenario played out leaving the North out. Trying to figure out a title game with just of few games and a bunch of cancelations is something else.

I agree, not the right time to take them on. I doubt there's any real chance of the game happening. Canzano probably thought it would just make a good story. Too short notice and I'm not sure the Ohio State would want to take the game even with more notice.

A team playing for the North title should never be in a position to win by cancelling the game. That being said I can't feel too bad for the Ducks dropping 2 straight to the Beavs and a winless Cal.
What a mess of a season.

according to 247 Ducks the game is cancelled.

The Ducks should use this time for reps. Put Shough through some pressure situations and beef up the line.
Lack of depth at almost all D positions is also something that needs work.

I wonder if the Dawgs will have enough bodies to play in the champ game...if not, Ducks would go, I think...

They're under a 2 week quarantine protocol by the county. Unless they change it I would sure think they wouldn't be able to field a team by then.
I read an article about Lake's interview yesterday in which he stated if they can't play this weekend they won't be able to play next weekend either.

I was wonderin' that also. In 2011, when USC was ineligible, UCLA went in their place to the first conference playoff. I know, different circumstances. I guess I just need to say pfffft....
