Welcome to The Duck Room. We're an old school Oregon Ducks fan site dedicated to our University of Oregon Ducks sports. This community is centered around sharing updates, news stories, and opinions, and thoughts related to Oregon Ducks sports.
One of the best things besides the great users we have on here is that The Duck Room is completely free. Always has been and always will be. Don't be shy as everyone can post your latest thoughts on the Ducks. Just see the few simple rules below.
1. Common sense community standards apply.
2. Posts of political nature of post that would lead to such matters do not belong here, there's a whole internet for that.
3. Fans of different teams are allowed here as are difference of options, however trolling is not tolerated.
4. We have to abide by copyright laws, which means quoting an articles story and posting links works. On the contrary copy and pasting entire copyrighted stories is against the rules.

Championship Game Chat
It's go time! Time for the Ducks to step up and take the title.

The Ducks need to do a lot of things to win tonight and scoring in the second half comes to mind first. While out walking my dog today I ran across a fellow and long time Ducks fan born and raised in Eugene who doesn't miss a game. I mentioned about the Ducks needing to score in the second half. She said she fell asleep watching the second half of the Cal game haha! USC's offense is too good to shutout. The defense will certainly need to slow them down though.

They will win or lose based on offense. I don't think the D is good enough to stifle USC for an entire game.
If Moorhead realizes there is a second half too and if Shough sees an open player and realizes the play is working so pass the ball..then we have a chance.
Last 3 games... UCLA, osu and Cal...the Ducks have scored 65 first-half points and 28 second-half points including 3 quarters being shutout...that won't win the Championship. Go Ducks!

Agreed, I was just writing that USC seems sloppy early in games and then finishes strong. Then the pic! Go Ducks!

Nice to get a stop and great field position. So often in football the first score doesn't always mean that much.
