Is Cristobal evolving into a "big game" head coach?

Understood until you coach / win in the playoffs you haven't succeeded in "big games."

I believe experience matters. Cristobal won a national championship as both a player (Miami) and coach (Alabama).

Chris Petersen never beat a P5 team in a bowl game. Mike Leach never won the North Division in the Pac-12. Kyle Whittingham has never won a Pac-12 Championship. David Shaw last won the Pac-12 Championship in 2015. osu has never won an outright Pac-8 / 10 / 12 Championship in football.

These championships do not come easily.

Cristobal in his first P5 head coaching job has now won back-to-back Pac-12 Championships and a Rose Bowl in 3-years!

I am thinking / believing this guy knows how to prepare a team for a "big game."

Go Ducks!

Not greater than USC, MC just knows how to get them ready, at least in big games.
