This is a perfect example of why I struggle in trying to understand Oregon's approach to offense...as per the article...Redd scores a TD every 5 times he touches the ball! In his career at Oregon he has averaged 10 yards per catch and 7 yards per rush.
Here are Oregon's total points per quarter for 2020(7 games)...
1st - 66
2nd - 65
3rd - 49
4th - 39(includes being shutout in 3 games)
I am going to take a guess that if Nick Saban has a player who scores a TD every 5 touches he is going to make sure that player gets the ball in his hands frequently.
Any idea what the offensive philosophy is of the multi-millionaire trifecta of Cristobal-Moorhead-Mastro coaching an offense that got progressively worse as the season went along; scored fewer points throuh each quarter?
I understood Chip Kelly's approach to offense from Day 1 i.e. "Our goal is to get the ball in the hands of fast players in open space."
Cristobal: "We want to establish physicality at the line of scrimmage."
Thanks Jaylon Redd for returning.

Ducks land a 4 star RB from Cali...I like this kid. At 6' and 200 lbs, he just might be the bruising back I feel the Ducks need..

I am curious about Benson, too. Glad to see Cardwell quack!
Redd is a stud. Him and JJIII offer some great continuity...
