Jon Wilner / Greg Biggens on everything about the Pac-12
Since these posts are so popular based on the comments😂, I will post a couple more!
Pac-12 Commissioner hiring is looming(Wilner); recruiting, transfer portal and all related issues(Biggins)...so many important factors that WILL impact teams...not a matter of "if."
Interesting point too about it being less likely for head football coaches naming players in numerical order of their standing on the team because as soon as a QB hears he is #3...headed to the transfer portal!
As was noted, coaches are having to publicly "recruit" players already on the team to help them stay!
So I won't be surprised if Oregon does not have an "official" #2 QB to name one example.
I like what Wilner discussed about the Pac-12 following the Big Ten and hiring a football liason between the head coaches and the main office(Barry Alvarez)...Wilner suggested Chris Petersen but noted Mike Bellotti as well.
