I'm a big believer in loyalty. Unless Tyler really isn't that good, my feeling is we have a solid group in the QB room. As much as I wish MH had offered Tua and brought him here, to me, that ship has sailed. 
It surprises me if  that's true. Wonder if Tua and his family feel not enough concern is being shown them by Bama?

I'm not sure there's any disloyalty when a coach brings in a player who can take them to the next level. College athletes understand they are there to compete. If they're good enough, they play. If not, they sit. (This is one reason I think the transfer portal is a great move and I don't believe it's disloyal for a player to move on if he's given it his all and still come up short.)

All that being said, I do like the idea of developing young talent if you really believe in them. Taking a one and done player has a high ceiling for the season but it may not be the best long-term move. And with 3 high-rated recruits, chances are they get a guy who's Tua-like.
