I would expect a little bit higher of a score. Hope I'm wrong too in that I don't think the Ducks have that great of a chance on the road in only the second game. The offense is going to have to score a lot of points to have any chance. Maybe this could be close, but it could unfortunately be a blowout. We'll get to see how much improvement they've made from last season. Iowa State looked like a lot better team and I think the Buckeyes were a lot better than Iowa State last year.
I'm a lot more optimistic with the Ducks doing well in the Pac this year.

It's way too early for me to make one. No idea who the #1 QB is...I do give the edge to the buckeyes.

I would actually expect a lower scoring game. I think the Duck D will acquit itself well, if it's not on the field too long. I don't have high expectations of the O with a new QB, esp in that environment; but it'll be a worthwhile checkpoint and a great prep for the P-12 season, which is more important.
just hoping we have a game, and a season when I can go to Autzen to tailgate and watch football. Trumpdemic II is rolling downhill fast like a big, dirty snowball. if y'all know anybody who remains unvaxed, do your best to persuade them.

I’m basing my prediction on the D coming through and making the big plays, and scoring.

Both teams have a game before they meet so I want to see what happens in those games first... including whether there are any key injuries.
The luckeyes actually open on the road in a conference game against Minnesota while Oregon stays home against Fresno State.
I remember when Fresno State was an important game for Oregon relative to recruiting central California...it doesn't feel that way now!
The advantage the luckeyes have is 2 more days to prepare for Oregon i.e. they play on September 2nd / Oregon plays on September 4th.
More than anything I just hope Brown plays well(I am assuming he will be the starting QB) against Fresno State and stays healthy because I would not give Oregon much of chance going into Columbus with a backup QB who has little to no game experience (depending if they against Fresno State).
Go Ducks!

I think Ohio State is 8-0 against the Ducks all-time in football.
At least the Tall Firs beat them in the first NCAA Basketball championship in 1939.
Now would be a good time to break the goose egg in football by playing big and winning in Columbus.

I think Oregon's defense has the horses to keep this close.Ohio State is also a bit undecided at QB. If Dye doesn't put a ball on the ground (and I love the kid), I think our offense will move the chains all day. Verdell and Dye with weapons all over the field. Webb taking another step. Maybe McCormick will play four quarters?
I hope we have a QB1 that plays the whole game. Let's not alternate Brown and Thompson in the showcase game of the day. America doesn't need to see that...
Oregon 31, OSU 28. This game won't sink our season, but we need to shake up the national landscape. This is the time to do it!
GO DUCKS!

With you! Be nice to see Wright break a long return! Those kids are all vets. Go to goducks.com and look at our roster. No team in America has this much talent rostered as freshmen or sophomores...

Boy, is it ever. We mask up everywhere, and the wife and I and our twelve-year-old daughter took the shots. But kids are showing up here in Duval County with issues (not many), and it isn't right. We didn't have to have this infectious miasma swirling around us, but here we are...SMH.
Go Ducks!
