This play calling makes no sense. You finally get the run game going, then put the ball in Browns hands...not sure I can watch the rest of the damn game.

I didn't think we were going to get the W for a while. A win is a win, but my goodness do we have some things to work on.

Agree. A win is nice, but a nail biter is not what I expected.

its an awful win --crappy but its better than a loss--congrats to the Bulldogs-they scared the p-ss out of me. Hopefully they will win out their conference. good luck in the future bulldogies.

if we continue to play like this we will be lucky to win 4 games for the rest of the season. Mullins needs to have a chat with rockhead Cristobal

as Coach Bellotti was wont to say, the most important week of the season is after Game 1 and before Game 2. Ducks not a Top 20 team today, but 1-0 is what matters, along with learned lessons going forward.
I'm not at all confident in AB; started to remind me of Shough last year--lock onto one receiver and then pull it down and run if he's not open. that TD drive at end of 1st half was a beauty, and the last three completions--including the dirt to Three Sticks--were not to his primary receiver. but we need to see a whole lot more of that if he's going to remain the starter.
think the V-Dogs are really that good. bet they would be plus-.500 in the P12, and handle Tree, Zona, and the lowly beavs by two TDs. their strengths at QB and defensive front were a good test for the Ducks. any W is a good W, and this one will ripen nicely if Mario & Staff learn from it.
onward . . .

Go Ducks!
We don't look ready for prime time, but I think Fresno State is a solid team. I like that we never wavered from Brown and I appreciate the winning run, but he was very average. I counted three throws he missed, and that is without the backwards pass that went out of bounds. It will be abig week for cleaning things up.
That said, running game looked solid. Defense is plus two on turnovers. We were rolling early, which shows the potential. KT and Sewell are first-round draft choices and Wright and Flowe can play their way into that discussion. Four potential first rounders on defense is a good look.
27-0 at Autzen in our last 27 against non-conference is sweet...
GO DUCKS! I made a reservation to surprise my wife next week for our anniversary. Biggest game since 2017 and I will be diddling around in Jekyll Island. Oh, well. I hit homer when I married her...

Yep At least they pulled it out. Okie got a bigger scare. I'm not at all sold on AB..for those reasons and more, but maybe that last TD run will wake him up..gotta get the ball downfield. We have weapons on offense at wideout. Run game didn't look bad..O line needs to jell it seems. Again on D, not much pressure on the QB most of the time, and odd looking stunts that did nothing but leave open throwing lanes. Hoping KT is fine for next week. Go Ducks!

Not sure MC is able to get calls right game time. Dude can draw great talent. Not sure he can get it done between the 00:00's. Sad because this is a talented group. These kids deserve MC getting it right.

Oline opened up some nice holes. That was a talented d front. There were a lot of times they let up early on their blocks. 1-0 is what matters. Fresno is a good footbal team. Really like the quarterback.

It was first game. Could be worse, okie fan didn't get a good look either. Might hurt Oregon's ranking, Sooner will stay at #2
