We've seen some really good games against Stanford and I'm excited for this one.
Can the Ducks shore up the run defense? I believe Stanford is getting their backs back and the Ducks will need to do better than last week.
Mario said their QB Tanner McKee is the past they've seen and this includes previous seasons. Stanford still has the tall receivers and TE's like the past and will probably use a lot of 2 and 3 TE sets I think the Ducks secondary has more size than the past and this shouldn't be to mismatch in prior years.
The Stanford secondary is suspect. Will the Ducks air it out a little?
Go Ducks!

Good morning to ya, Phil.
I’d like to see the Ducks control the time of possession. I’d also like the Ducks to put it away quickly because I have a match at 3 pm today.

I think this one goes into the 4th pretty close, and Ducks pull it out with a late TO and score. I'd love to be wrong, and see Oregon up big by the 4th .
Go Ducks!

Ducks pick up a commitment today from 4 star linebacker Devon Jackson. Good start to the day

I'd like to see a quick lead built up too. Hopefully you can record the game and watch the rest after your match. You should get off to a quick lead in your tennis match! We used to always call the 6-0 sets the "Bagel".

I keep reading about how fast this kid is. He was completely sold after the visit like so many other players are.

I’ve been bageled in a set before and it stung me for a couple of weeks! Hahaha

Just read Moorhead won’t be calling the game.

Is he sick or something? I didn't see anything about that. I did see Bennett Williams was not around.

Whisper is Oregon Ducks offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead did not make the trip with Oregon… waiting on confirmation from Ducks media relations. Told they’ll give an update at kickoff. Center Alex Forsythe in street clothes and a jersey. PS: Hardly any fans in Stanford Stadium.

No sign of Oregon OC Joe Moorhead. RB coach Jim Mastro, WR coach Bryan McClendon are by the QBs pregame

I heard Bennett Williams had a busted ankle.
For what it’s worth, a commenter said it is health-related but not COVID (re Moorhead).

I hope Moorhead is okay whatever the ailment is. Thanks for the heads up.
The no fans in the stands is the certainly not surprising part of the report!

Let's go, Ducks! HUGE game in the north! I thought he had his head up, damn it...looked like the forehead and not the crown...
Go Ducks!

Playing at that speed must make is so tough to avoid hits like that. It didn't look intentional, but was the right call by the rules. It's tough to loose a player for a whole game.
