Re: Cal/Oregon Game Thread

Third and 5 and Anthony "I do not give up the ball on third down" Brown runs straight ahead???

Fourth down and Anthony "I never pass far enough for a first down" Brown does his thing.

It's head scratching and unfortunately will not change with him.

Although, like you've said in the past the Ducks have problems developing QB's so that might not be any easy fix.

Re: Cal/Oregon Game Thread

Cal O-line is pushing us around way too much. Garbers shouldn't be waltzing downfield for easy gains.

Re: Cal/Oregon Game Thread

Confirmed! That's an amazing grab by Johnson!

Re: Cal/Oregon Game Thread

Mario-ball 101...Never ever have your QB pass the ball far enough for a first-down and let one of your talented WR's jump and make a play....never never never... instead throw it intentionally short and then physicality
after the catch gets the first down...that is "the process."

Re: Cal/Oregon Game Thread

Nothing like an hour long phone call with a grandson needing grandfatherly advice. Tried to watch the game...man, not good. penalties, a fumble..at least Brown is throwing downfield some, but those short passes are killing us...

Re: Cal/Oregon Game Thread

Alright, that drive looked a lot better.

I liked that they're not trying to run Dye non stop and mixing running in with a few passes down the field.

Devon Williams made a really good catch and read the ball being underthrown and went to it.

You didn't miss much anyway and good for you for taking time to talk.

Re: Cal/Oregon Game Thread

Wouldn't it be nice if we'd get a stop here and another TD and actually go into the half against a poor team with a more than one score lead?

Re: Cal/Oregon Game Thread

ESPN always brings up KT every few minutes. I'm excited for him coming in the second half and all, but they go overboard and don't know a lot about the team in general.

Re: Cal/Oregon Game Thread

Do we even want to score?  Run the play clock down to 11 on 1st down with less than 2 minutes left?

Re: Cal/Oregon Game Thread

Ducks are not even a top 50 team--mistake after mistake -poor d  etc etc. Its a Clusterfug. So Sad.
