OLive has a lot of information FYI and not all of it is behind a paywall.
I have never become too hyped over what happens in March when a team doesn't play a game until September.
However I am curious how Lanning would start his on the field efforts and this article is interesting with some noted position changes(for the moment)...Justin Flowe as a DB and Seven McGee as a WR...yet as is noted... personnel decisions are fluid.

It's Justin's brother, Jonathon, who has moved to DB..Justin is a LB, tho not yet ready for contact, but getting closer. I really hope he can stay healthy this year. Jonathan may end up at safety, but we'll see.

I read a while back that there's speculation DJ Johnson will move to the defensive side of the ball. He's a really talented player on either side in my opinion.
CK used to really make some magic happen with RBs at the WR position. I hope Lanning can do the same.
Hopefully none of the injuries to the DTs are significant and they'll be ready to go for fall camp.

Great stuff coming out of the reporting. Appears that Lanning has taken a pretty good look under the hood and is now going to start tinkering. Best guess is that he is simply looking to find a way to get the best 11 on the field at once on both sides of the ball and that is requiring some buy in from players to move from their recruited positions- all jobs are open for competition. As such, probably best to temper expectations while these guys figure out their roles on the team. Lanning's goal is simple on paper. Identify as best as possible the 1's and 2's and after Spring ball tidy up the depth with some transfers, the healthy returners and the incoming FR when Fall camp opens.

James Crepea kicks butt. I enjoy reading his stuff and listening to his podcasts
