an aside: i wonder if Canzano regrets leaving the Oregonian,.. i sure don't miss him

Actually by all appearances, Canzano seems to be enjoying his independence in doing his own thing. His writing was up and down to my liking(although he had a wonderful piece about his mother for Mother's Day).
However I do enjoy his podcast because he gets a lot of people on who mainstream media ignore. Plus I think he is a much better interviewer / podcaster than writer.
