I don't think there is a sport at the UO where you could dominate the Pac-12 like Oregon has done in track and field and not have your contract renewed.
Yet track and field at Oregon is not about being the best in the Pac-12.
After what happened at the NCAA's recently, I wondered about Johnson's future at Oregon.
Even had an email exchange with Ken Goe about it and he hinted that changes would be coming.
Despite the sparkling new facilities, the allegations that Oregon's body monitoring training programs were triggering eating disorders according to some athletes, may have made not renewing his contract a foregone conclusion.

Yeah, there's more than a bad year at nationals behind this. The guy has 14 national championships. Won the men's indoor just last year and second outdoor.
