Ducks vs. Rutgers Game Chat

The No. 8 Oregon Ducks face Rutgers (3-3, 0-3) at 3:30 p.m. PT at SHI Stadium in Piscataway, New Jersey. It looks like a perfect fall weather day being partly sunny with a high of 67. This is the longest possible road trip for the Ducks. The Ducks hoping to rebound against a Rutgers defense, which has allowed 385.3 yards and 27.5 points per game. Oregon is a 17.5-point favorite, with the over/under set at 60.5 points.

  • Game Details: The game will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network
  • Oregon's Offensive Outlook: The Ducks' offense, which has struggled recently with just 30 offensive points over the last eight quarters, is expected to thrive against Rutgers' weak defense. Quarterback Dante Moore, who had his worst game of the season against Indiana, will look to bounce back against a secondary that has allowed 304 yards per game in conference play. The Ducks' offense ranks 23rd nationally in total offense and ninth in scoring offense, averaging 42.2 points per game.
  • Rutgers' Challenges: Despite a strong rushing attack led by Antwan Raymond (560 rushing yards, nine touchdowns), Rutgers has lost its last three conference games by a combined 51 points. The Scarlet Knights' quarterback, Athan Kaliakmanis, has been sacked 18 times this season and has thrown 11 touchdowns, but only three in conference play.

  • If the Ducks play up to their potential this should be an easy win. I'm sure the team and of the fans that matter could use some positive momentum moving forward. Go Ducks!!!

Re: Ducks vs. Rutgers Game Chat

Put aside the obvious bad start with the fumble the play calling  looked horrible before that

I’d like to see the defense get a stop now too

Re: Ducks vs. Rutgers Game Chat

We got a turnover back, apparently that’s what did Miami end with their upset

Re: Ducks vs. Rutgers Game Chat

I love our running back room and I’m glad to see Jordan getting carries earlier in the game and not just on goal line plays

Re: Ducks vs. Rutgers Game Chat

I didn’t see Austin listed as questionable or injured so I would like to see him get some time in the second half with the way the game is going. Dante came out and looks like Dante again. It probably helps. The offensive line is doing their part two he’s not taking hits immediately after the snap like last week.

He must have been. I looked it up before the game. I didn’t see him on the list so I don’t know what’s going on with him.
