New Kicker!

Man, I hate leaving all those points out there because we can't kick. Hope he works out...

I agree. Competition at this position is vital. We've also picked up some other PWO kids.

Re: New Kicker!

Thank goodness! I hadn't heard a thing about trying to bring in a major kicker and was getting concerned.

Re: New Kicker!

everybody sitting around me was going berserk when Herbs ran in that last TD after the Brady-Bryson strip-and-recover. I was still as a stone, thinking "c'mon Camden, just one more time, pleeeeeeeeeeease!" cuz he missed how many XPs and short FGs this year?
we caught a major break when that Wisky player drew 15 for a late hit on that TD, and got to kick off from the 50. and I still don't understand why we kicked deep late in Q2 after taking the lead, after having one run back for a TD already. same kid returned it to midfield and Wisky scored before the end of the half. anybody every heard of 'squib'?
sounds like this young man is coming 3000 miles from Maryland as a Preferred Walk On. hope he's as good as advertised and that there's an open schollie available for him down the road.

Re: New Kicker!

Smartest thing MC did with the K position was hold back on that feel-good schollie after Lewis hit the GWFG against Wazzu.  Props to the kid for nailing his XPs in the Rose Bowl, we needed 'em all...

Re: New Kicker!

That's right and technically he's Oregon's fourth FIVE STAR recruit for 2020. Although he got his rating from Kohl's, who also had Camden Lewis as a 5 star. I don't have any idea what that means or who Kohl's is. Until now I just thought they were a department store.

Buddy, you ain't the only one holding their breath
No idea why they kept allowing him to kick "deep". Maybe MC will find a kicker out of this kid and a couple of others that are here.
