November in Pac-12 football looks to be wild!

1) Very simply, if you are contending for the Pac-12 Championship...a loss in November is a disaster.

2) Oregon finds itself in almost the same position as last year.

Nick Saban recently on the Pat McAfee Show talked about the difference between beating teams(one-sided outcome) and winning games(scoring on final possession). Oregon's November and that of every other contending team will come down to the ability to win games by coaches and players.

3) I am reminded of the quote by a legendary British soccer coach, "We had a good team on paper but unfortunately the game was played on grass."

4) Aside from #1 above...I consider ASU the most "dangerous" game remaining on Oregon's schedule...travel to the desert where Oregon has had its share of challenges over the years; ASU isn't going anywhere; nothing Dillingham would like better than have his team upset his former employer.

5) USC's defense is a mess but they lead the Pac-12 in Scoring Offense(8 TD's and 49 more points than 2nd place Oregon) and nobody else is even close.

6) I think teams playing the "last Pac-12 game" against each other is motivating coaches and players(who all know each other)to give above and beyond efforts and November is going to elevate it even more.

7) Kind of interesting to read Jonathan Smith lament "one bad call" as playing a role in last night's loss to Arizona. Yep... unnecessary risks. Know that situation well.
