What a legacy he built for himself. He really made his mark in Oregon and the Pac.
I knew he had been struggling with health issues, but I didn't know it was cancer. F**k Cancer

He is/was a personal hero of mine since I was a kid. That 30 for 30 sealed the deal as to why after almost 50 years of being a Blazer fan. He was the best pure passer in the game and he was a coachable person and he fought hard against a fractured body and stuttering voice to become a legendary human being. If I am guilty of terrific hyperbole here, it’s in honor of Big Red. RIP #32.

How ironic that as the P12 dies, so does Bill.
I will dearly miss him.
