Happy belated Thanksgiving to you Phil! Thanks for keeping this thread together!
On another subject, the transfer portal has greatly changed the complexion of college football. Report out of Nebraska this week that coach Rhule expects 40% of his roster to go to the portal. Some 1500 players in the portal? Wow!
I expect the Ducks to lose some quality players this month. On the other hand, there are a number of transfers playing on the current team that are starters. Our window is now as there will be a number of vacancies with graduation, transfers and going to the NFL. Hopefully we don't follow Michigan and become an ordinary team next year. Georgia is, I believe, the only team that does not take in transfers and has minimum transfers leaving. Probably the reason Nick Saban called it a career.

I've been thinking a lot about the state of college football and the transfer portal in particular. It probably makes sense to start a new top and thread for this matter. If it's alright with you I might move your post on thread on a new topic?
