Welp, that wasn't what anyone expected.
That said, Ducks have the pieces to build with and a favorable schedule next season to win the B1G and make the playoff. That said, HOT TAKES:
* I am not a Lupoi fan. The Ducks have the horses, but not the X's and O's and ability to adjust. This was a gripe of mine all season long. He can recruit and motivate, but you gotta also scheme and tweak as needed.
* Stein was about as stubborn with sticking to the run and not adjusting to 6/7 man coverages as the Buckeyes only rushed four most of the time with a spy on Gabriel. Will this offense look different with a different QB?
* As I write this, UGA is getting ran off the field by Notre Dame. If the Irish finish this thing, that means all four top seeds are eliminated on neutral fields by teams that stayed sharp with an extra home game victory. Is that what a real playoff looks like???
* Still think the season was a great one with the conference championship and individual accomplishments, but I think that the CFP needs to divorce itself from the NCAA and the bowl system.

I agree on all accounts: we came out totally confused on D, and that is Lupoi. Our offense just never used the middle of the field and kept starting plays behind the LOS. He's young and should grow, while Moore is much taller than Dillon and we should be able to throw it down the field more often.
I feel it was indeed a great season in Dan's 3rd year; just gotta keep stacking talent. I do expect we lose one or maybe two co ordinators this offseason.
