The No. 6 Oregon Ducks (6-1, 3-1 Big Ten) are set to host the struggling Wisconsin Badgers (2-5, 0-4) at Autzen Stadium and the kickoff scheduled for 4 p.m. PT.
As oldretired guy mentioned the weather will play a factor with strong wind and heavy rain predicted for game time. Yes, it never rains in Autzen, but seriously I don't remember conditions like this for a long time.
Oregon is a heavy favorite, entering the game as a 34.5 point favorite. The Ducks aim to build on their recent 56-10 road victory over Rutgers, where they amassed 750 yards of offense, while Wisconsin seeks its first Big Ten win and its first touchdown in three games after being shut out in their last two contests.
Game Details: The matchup will be televised on FS1 or Peacock along with the typical streaming options.
Oregon's Strengths: The Ducks boast a top-10 offense, averaging 505.1 yards per game, and a ninth-ranked rushing attack with 241.9 yards per game.
Quarterback Dante Moore has thrown for 1,686 yards and 19 touchdowns with only four interceptions, while true freshman wideout Dakorien Moore leads the team with 398 receiving yards.
Their defense, ranked sixth nationally in yards allowed, has been a key factor, leading the Big Ten with 35 pass deflections.
Wisconsin's Struggles: The Badgers have lost five consecutive games, scoring just 13.3 points per game nationally and averaging only 5.0 points in Big Ten play.
Their offense has been ineffective, with quarterbacks Danny O’Neil and Hunter Simmons combining for six touchdowns and nine interceptions.
The team has been shut out in their last two games, including a 34-0 loss to Ohio State and a 37-0 loss to Iowa.
Key Players: Oregon’s defense is led by linebacker Bryce Boettcher (57 tackles) and defensive end Matayo Uiangalalei (four sacks), while true freshman cornerback Brandon Finney Jr. has been a standout with an 11.8 passer rating when targeted.
For Wisconsin, linebacker Christian Alliegro leads the team with 48 tackles and two sacks, though he may be limited after breaking his arm in the Ohio State game.
Coaching and Morale: Oregon head coach Dan Lanning, in his fourth year, has a 41-7 record and is 30-0 against unranked opponents.
Wisconsin’s head coach Luke Fickell, despite a 0-9 record against AP Top 25 teams, has been assured by athletic director Chris McIntosh that he will finish the season.

That one was something else. But it actually looks nice out now in Eugene.

Sun on the field? Wow.
Speaking of wow, not sure I’m liking Lanning going for it on fourth for the second game in a row on first series in Duck territory. I get he is trying to set momentum, but it feels a bit cavalier. At least this time it didn’t lead to points.

Yeah, I wish they would run some better plays on the first and second downs. Dante is getting a lot of pressure and isn’t seeing it

Wisconsin is reading these plays really good. This is not a good look for the offense at all.

Gotta love the Ducks punter! It’s really easy to tell he was a rugby player

For sure it’s typically a bad sign when the best thing you have to say is about the punter

It’s kind of head scratching, sometimes usually you want to start with the run open up the pass
