The No. 6 Oregon Ducks face the Washington Huskies at Husky Stadium. Oregon, with a 10-1 record, needs a win to secure a spot in the national playoffs, while a loss could have the Ducks crossing their fingers and having other teams needing to lose.
Weather: Cloudy and cool in the mid-forties. Not bad for the last game of the year.
The Ducks are favored by 6.5 points, with the betting line reflecting a close contest despite Oregon's higher ranking. For what's it's worth I've seen even a lot of non-homer media members pick the Ducks to win by a lot more, exp: Aron Fentress has the Ducks my 11 and I've seen a number of 2 touchdown predictions nationally
Game Details: The game is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. PT and will be televised on CBS & streaming on Paramount+
Key Matchups: Oregon’s must overcome a Washington defense ranked 18th nationally in total defense and 19th in scoring defense.
The Ducks’ running game, led by Noah Whittington and Jordon Davison, will be crucial to keep Washington’s defense honest.
Conversely, Washington’s quarterback Demond Williams Jr., who has passed for 2,721 yards and rushed for 568 yards, presents a dual-threat challenge.
Injuries and Concerns: Oregon is missing wide receivers Dakorien Moore and Gary Bryant Jr., which could impact their passing game. Washington’s key playmakers, running back Jonah Coleman and receiver Denzel Boston, are battling undisclosed injuries.
Historical Context: Oregon defeated Washington 49-21 in the previous meeting at Autzen Stadium, sacking Williams 10 times and holding the Huskies to just 43 rushing yards. The Ducks have won 11 consecutive road games, the longest active streak in FBS.
Betting and Predictions: Oregon is a 6.5-point favorite, with the Over/Under set at 51.5 points. The most common prediction is an Oregon victory, with a projected score of Oregon 34, Washington 23.
I'm excited for the game and can't believe the regular season is coming to a close. I've never liked the fuskies and have always considered them a bigger rival than the beavs. Now in the B1G they really are. I wish the Ducks could play them every season like this.
BTW: Anybody have any special food plans for the last game? Personally I'm spicing it up with some homemade salsa with guacamole and chips and some tacos.
Go Ducks !!!

Online and ready for the game. Nervous? Yes, but I am perennially nervous with the Ducks. Hate the Fuskies more than the Devil himself.
Food for the game? Single malt. Just depends when I start! 🥃

Same here, enjoy your single malt. I have a Mexican lager that I I brewed myself and won an meddle in a national competition. I’ll open it up later in the game to go with all my spicy food. Good start so far!

He’s been pretty stellar other than that doink kick last game that ended up not mattering.

After last week and 130 yards of the duck still can’t keep their temper in check and get stupid penalties in a big game

I loved that look on Jedd’s face when he saw the interception!

I missed it, but Demonds was pretty good. Boy, did we need that pick.

Washington’s pressure seems to be bothering Dante a little bit and then some of the receivers have missed a few catches too. The ducks need to score a touchdown before the half.

Nice call on the touchdown. Now the fuskies are going to have to deal with a fresh Jordan when he comes in later after Noaha takes a break.

Big 14 point swing from that pick and 80 yard drive.

For sure

When Dante gets time he's finding some wide open receivers. I'm feeling a lot better about the offense.

I’ll feel even better with a score here.
