Welcome to The Duck Room. We're an old school Oregon Ducks fan site dedicated to our University of Oregon Ducks sports. This community is centered around sharing updates, news stories, and opinions, and thoughts related to Oregon Ducks sports.
One of the best things besides the great users we have on here is that The Duck Room is completely free. Always has been and always will be. Don't be shy as everyone can post your latest thoughts on the Ducks. Just see the few simple rules below.
1. Common sense community standards apply.
2. Posts of political nature of post that would lead to such matters do not belong here, there's a whole internet for that.
3. Fans of different teams are allowed here as are difference of options, however trolling is not tolerated.
4. We have to abide by copyright laws, which means quoting an articles story and posting links works. On the contrary copy and pasting entire copyrighted stories is against the rules.

Where is OldRetiredGuy?
Just logged in here last week, noticed my favorite guy from the OLive days hasn't been posting like usual. Looks like April was the last time. Anybody heard anything?

I'll reach out to him and figured we would see him soon. Last time I spoke to him he said he's been spending less time online lately.

Good news, I just talked to OldRetiredGuy. I almost called him by his first name. We've talked a good number of times on the phone over the years running this site and often for over an hour at a time in the past.
I'm glad to report he's doing well and will be checking back in a posting in the not too distant future on here. He said to say hello to everyone. I enjoyed hearing his takes on the Ducks right now. We both agreed that Dylan looked real good on Friday. Like I said before he's just been on the internet less.
He also mentioned he was posting some and it didn't seem like anybody was responding as well. I feel the same way sometimes. I've tried reaching out to some family and friends in addition to posting this site a few places online when I've seen people asking about Ducks forums.
We honestly only have a about a handful of regular posters now. I'm not planning on going anywhere this season. I'll be asking for feedback about whether or not it makes sense to call it quits after the football season? Either way the best thing folks can do is make a comment and reach out to any fellow Ducks fans that may want to join.
