1A and 1A

This was a tremendous season. I think UO is on a track to have a phenonenal season in 2020, and I think Justin showing the wheels for three touchdowns in the Rose Natty indicates that he and Marcus are damned close.

Just heard some folks claiming that Justin is no Marcus. I think they are close. Super talented UO Ducks...

Go Ducks!

Herbert is certainly more gifted physically (at least for an NFL QB), But Marcus was more efficient . Bit of an apples to oranges comparison.

Marcus had a gift to be able to escape pressure. That allowed him to keep a play alive like no other QB I've ever seen at Oregon. At the college level, that made the difference in countless games. He was also perfect for making quick reads, which fit Kelly's offense very well. But Justin has a stronger arm, is bigger and can really run when he needs to. He may have the higher eventual NFL upside. Regardless, these are two of the best people on the planet. We're very fortunate that they were both ambassadors for the Ducks.

Completely agree on them being two of the best people on the planet.  I went to High school a couple years behind Justin's father and took Biology from his grandfather.  It,s not a surprise that he turned out to be a great young man.

I agree that they play differently, but I don't think their overall play is that far apart. Justin had a hell of a year! Not 13 wins and a Heisman, but 12 and a Campbell is pretty good!

Matt Hayes from Bleacher Report was gushing about him yesterday. Said he is tearing it up against great competition...
