it's Bracketology time already

https://www.ncaa.com/news/basketball-men/article/march-madness-2020-schedule

here's one of the first forecasts for the men's b-ball tourney, from Andy Katz of the B1G Network. he's got Oregon as a #3 headed to Spokane, and routed to an Elite Eight rematch with Zags in Malibu if both teams win the first three. he's also got Zona, Colorado, SC, and Stanford in The Dance from the P-12; no UW or Sparky.
Ducks have Ws over seven tournament teams that I can see (Michigan, Memphis, Houston, Seton Hall, Montana, Zona, and SC). big matchup v Tree Sat down on The Farm.
what's interesting is that Katz has four #1 seeds from west of the Miss River: Kansas, Baylor, Zags, and San Diego St. doubt that will hold up.

Here's another, Ducks a 2 seed in the West playing in Spokane.  Would have them playing either Memphis or Wisconsin (seriously) in the second round.

Re: it's Bracketology time already

CBS Sports and several other online outlets have websites where you can create your own bracket and invite participants; they do all the work and calculations for you once you're set up and everybody submits their bracket(s).
we'd just need someone with admin privileges on this board to create the bracket with all our email addresses. you can name your entries with your screen name when you submit.

Re: it's Bracketology time already

here's the dashboard for the CBS Bracketology online site. won't ramp up until just before the games start in March.
https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/ncaa-tournament/brackets/games/
I've only been a participant in these, not an admin. I think all you have to do is create your own bracket 'league' and then send email invites to whomever you want to join. then the email recipients create their league account, userid, & submit their brackets by the deadline (CBS lets you have three per player).
I signed up for the notification email; and adjusted the spam filter so all the CBS flak-flak goes straight to the Junk folder.

That sounds like a good idea to me. I haven't done it either, but it should be pretty easy to set up.
