Kyron Ware-Hudson 2021

The 2021 recruiting class has a long ways to go, but it's nice to see a talented WR that seems to be a solid commit. I think the WR position has to one of the most important positions to recruit next year. Having Moorhead as OC should bolster the chances of landing talented receivers. Do you agree that WR and maybe TE might be the most important for 2021?

Could not agree more. Tall receivers and non-breakable tight ends are needed.  Badly.

No question both positions are important. We used to use our TEs a lot, and Moorhead seems like he will put the ball in the air more than Arroyo, so that should attract recievers, tho one of our best during CKs years was Jeff Maehl (sp). We also need a couple of DTs.

I don't remember remember Maehl ever making an easy drop like most of the receivers during the CK era. Moorhead's play calling may help the receivers get open more this year. I thought Arroyo was decent, but often times too predictable and reserved to the point the defense was rarely fooled. I read Moorhead uses a 1 TE set so for recruiting it may be more about finding one blue chip than a whole bunch of TE's.
