today was UO Lobby Day in Salem, an annual event when students, faculty, and admins put the full-court press on the legislators for $$$.
a big chunk of your state reps, state senators, and governor's staff were at the Rose Bowl tailgater (courtesy of UO, no doubt), so they best come up w some coin in addition to honoring Herbs.
