I am totally bummed. I too was really looking forward to another year of Satou. I also am fine with her pursuing her dreams. She's really grown as a woman and basketball player. Wish her all the best. Lots of talent coming up, but yeah, the big three will be hard to replace. Hope they can win it all.

Just saw that as well, ORG and DR. Good for her! Degree in hand, and she will continue to grow. Her best ball is in front of her...
KG is recruiting his ass off. Team is set for future success...

was worried when I first saw the header that this meant that Nyara's injuries were more serious and that she would not be able to play next year, hence Satou's pending departure. she gave a nice shout-out to her sis in her socmed announcement, and sounds like all is OK. really hoping to see Nyara on the court next season.
been quite a run w Sabrina, Ruthy, and Satou. who'd of ever thunk of 12,000 people in MKA for a college women's b-ball game? hope Satou goes to a good WNBA team in a big marketplace and the fans love her as much as we do.

Would love to see Nyara be able to play. With Sedona in the middle, Ducks will have more height. Taylor and Jaz, Erin, and maybe Holly or Nyara, plus all the freshmen coming in...might take a little time to get the chemistry going, but Ducks should be tough again.
