Payton Pritchard = 1st Team AP All-American...a first for Oregon!

Love the photo with Coach Tinkle raising his hand to, presumably, signal a osu player to get a hand up in Pritchard's face....too late! Kind of reflects the osu seasons in football, WBB, MBB...too late for any notable successes. ROFL Congratulations to Pritchard and well-deserved. Go Ducks!

Love this, and I think he earned it. He has been a gamer throughout his career. Phenomenal freshman year, sophomore slide, and then two great years. Probably the best point guard in UO history, though Brandon and Ridnour were also right there.

What a stud. Go Ducks!

lots of easy comparisons between FastPP3 and Rid. both 6-2, Payton a better shooter, esp from 3Ville; Rid quicker off the dribble and more a pure point guard. Rid had a long career in the NBA, and was almost a local kid (Blaine, WA Borderite).
Ducks have done well keeping the OR and WA kids at home over the years: Terrell, Aaron Brooks, Rid, Luke J, Maarty Luenen, PP3. some good ones got away, too (Damon, the Terrences from Jeff).

I admit I was never a huge Pritchard fan — until this year!!! That 37-foot dagger against the dreaded Huskies sealed the deal for me. “Gamer” is an apt description, and the highest accolade one can receive in my book. Comparison to Luke R. is also appropriate, and leads me to think he could also have a fine career at the next level. Wouldn’t have said that last season.
